Mining  

This division is the cornerstone of GADLELA business. Through this division the company acquires, develops and manages mining rights and carries out primary mining activities such as excavation and crushing of aggregate stones. Currently the business manages a quarry operation in Nquthu area of Northern KwaZulu-Natal. The aim is to realise sustainable and successful operation of this quarry.

Concrete

The concrete business focuses on Ready-mixed concrete which is then sold to clients. The company uses concrete mixers which ensure that accurate ratios are achieved. This business works with the GADLELA Logistics business to ensure timely delivery of concrete mix, especially given that the quality of concrete is dependent on timely delivery.

Brickmaking

The objective of the GADLELA Bricks is to manufacture bricks and concrete blocks of different sizes and shapes, to the satisfaction of our clients. The entire brick manufacturing process from grinding, sizing and combining of raw materials to setting and packaging will be managed. Quality control procedures will be implemented to ensure that the best quality bricks are manufactured.

Contract Mining

Our broader vision is to expand this business through identification of other quarries in need of crushing services. The company aims to concentrate on the business of crushing material on contractual basis. The company will acquire modern crushing and screening equipment which will enable us to provide these services.

Logistics

This division focuses on transporting aggregates, bricks and concrete from the quarry and other projects to destined markets. The business manages the flow of logistical information, material handling, production, packaging, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and security of mining products. The Logistics Company also manages simulation software which models, analyses visualises and optimises delivery of products to clients.
